Dairy Barn Stores Packaging

DairyBarn Stores Packaging

Art directed and designed Dairy Barn's entire milk and juice lineup. Worked directly with Sales Manager and Supervisors to return the best possible design.

Dairy Barn’s drive through convenience stores on Long Island are a great idea to begin with, however their milk and juice line-up had the same design from 25 years ago and needed an overhaul. Taking into consideration Dairybarn’s brand awareness on Long Island and their newly designed logo, I simply incorporated a strong “barn silo” shape and layed out a mixture of bold type and colors that could be identified immediately when going through the drive-through.

Overall since the redesign the company has seen huge increases in sales in there milk and juice line-up. This in conjunction with their weekly specials contribute to customers showing their faces weekly at Dairybarn.

Xpress – Exceptional Event Xperiences

DairyBarn Stores Packaging

Xpress is a company that offers top notch event travel to The Masters, Ryder Cup and other events including Skiing events and Tennis. These packages include everything from air travel to gourmet meals, cigars and more.

Xpress was looking for a complete solution starting with a logo that could incorporate different sporting events as well as translate their message without saying a word. Print Ads, Email blasts, Internet registration pages, Flash banners and Marketing collateral were all put in place to maximize turnout as well as make the registration process simple and easy.

Metropolitan Paper Recycling

MPR is a huge paper recycling company located in Brooklyn, NY. Companies from the surrounding areas bring them paper, metal, cardboard, plastic, etc. to be recycled and re-used to make new products.

When MPR contacted me they were looking for a website and my vision for the website was to focus on their process. From that concept, I also landed the job of photographing their facility for the website. Also in getting to know the company, I found out that they provide these incredible educational trips for elementary school students(light bulb). This not only shows students first hand the process of what happens to their recycled garbage, but encourages them to start recycling at a young age.

This information alone gave a cool idea for the site and had me super motivated about creating a website that would encourage youngsters to recycle. This is an ongoing project and you will soon see an entire part of the site called "The Kids Korner".

Kelly Christy Charity Event

DairyBarn Stores Packaging

Kelly Christy held a charity event to benefit Melanoma research and was looking for posters and other print materials. The event was being held at a lounge in NYC and was also going to showcase her new spring and fall hat lines. The event included silent auctions and raffles and all proceeds were donated to the Mayo Clinic.

When it came to the poster, it had to say something strong to get the attention of people walking in SoHo and the other print material needed to simply convey the Kelly Christy brand in a clean straight forward way. Other print materials needed were hat lists(so the audience knew which hats the models were wearing), a price sheet and a thank you sign.

Laura Esner Branding and Website

Laura Esner is a young and exiting photographer. Her intricate lighting techniques will make your head spin but that’s just it, when its all said and done her photographs make me think about mysteriousness. This mysteriousness gets past some of the obvious things happening in everyday life cycle. Her scenes and facial expressions draw you in. Not to mention Laura still uses film in her medium format which only adds to the authenticity of her scenes.

Laura wanted a logo with fonts and colors that hadn't’t been used before. So we elected to use a font that is only used on screen, and a pink that you wont find in your normal swatches palette. This along with a simple gray framed box is used all throughout her website and business cards to familiarize the viewer with her brand. Flash and XML galleries were used on her website so she can instantly ad photos to her website without knowing any Flash.
